Cape Perpetua’s uneven, rocky features create turbulent waters that make for wonderful listening and observation. Waves collide with one another as they crash into the rocky inlets. The tidepools, ocean, and air are filled with remarkable wildlife to see. In Perpetua is formed by three continuous movements named for three distinctive features at Cape Perpetua – the Spouting Horn, Thor’s Well, and Devil’s Churn – to create a dense, roiling soundscape that is shaped by the wide sound of kinetic waters and sunlight shining in the ocean spray.
